Dr Trish Wisbey-Roth is one of the select group of Australia’s first Specialist Sports Physiotherapists (awarded 2010) and is recognised as a Specialist Dr of Physiotherapy. She is a Sports Specialist in spine, pelvic and hip problems. Trish is known for her expertise in the management and treatment of musculo-skeletal problems with emphasis on diagnosis, manual therapy where indicated and individualised exercise programs.
Trish has been involved at the highest level of sport being part of the medical team at multiple Olympic games, Commonwealth games, World championships and National championships from 1991 through to 2019.
A physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience, Trish has completed both a Sports Physiotherapy Masters at the AIS Canberra and Post Graduate Manipulative Therapy training. She has pioneered the design of simple and effective, repeatable rehab strategies to optimise recovery and performance after injury. She is currently consulting as a Specialist physiotherapist at Take Control Active Rehab.

Beatrice grew up in Switzerland and completed both her Physiotherapy degree and 2-year postgraduate course in manual therapy and musculoskeletal injuries to qualify as an orthopaedic manipulative therapist in Switzerland before emigrating to Sydney Australia.
Beatrice with her extensive post graduate training is highly skilled in assessment of complex joint problems and designs specific manual therapy and exercise solutions tailored to the individual.
Beatrice emigrated to Australia to work with Dr Trish Wisbey-Roth in Sydney and is a highly skilled and greatly valued Senior physiotherapist at Take Control Active Rehab.
Beatrice has further training and advanced skills and interest in:
• Osteoporosis, Osteopenia and Bone health rehab and balance retraining.
• Effective Headache and Migraine treatment, Beatrice has advanced training at the Watson Headache Institute providing the expertise to treat Migraines, menstrual Migraines and Headaches with upper neck involvement.
• The dancing athlete, Pre Pointe-assessments
• Feet and lower limb injuries, with advanced understanding of the foot having worked in close consultation with podiatrists.
• Hip, knee, shoulder osteoarthritis in the mature population.
• Sport/overload injuries in children and the adolescent.

Rian comes from Ireland and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He also completed a diploma in Sport and Exercise science prior to this.
He has worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, private clinics and within sport as a physiotherapist for soccer and GAA teams.
Rian has grown up with a passion for sports and enjoys playing football, GAA, running, going to the gym and staying active. He has his own personal experiences of injuries within sport including the need for surgery, which has helped develop his passion for returning clients to optimal fitness and aiming to prevent recurring niggles.
