Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No. As a private client you can make a booking without a doctor’s referral. However, if you are claiming entitlements for Workers Compensation, CTP (Motor Vehicles Scheme), Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plan Scheme)or  Department of Veteran Affairs then you will need a referral from your GP or specialist.

Can I claim under my private health fund on the spot?

We have on the spot claiming if you are covered for Physiotherapy under your Private Health Fund. Just bring your Health Fund Card and we can swipe on the spot so you just have to pay the gap. Everyone's gap will be different depending on their health fund and level of cover. If you would like to know what your gap would be please contact your Private Health Fund.

Does Medicare cover my appointment fee?

Medicare does not cover Physiotherapy however you may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (also known as an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) or Team Care Arrangement (TCA) from your GP. This will entitle you to a part reimbursement from Medicare of the full appointment fee for up to 5 sessions. On the day you will need to pay the full cost of the appointment and we will submit it to Medicare on your behalf. The refund will then be automatically sent to your account if you have one set up with Medicare already.

What conditions do you treat?

Physiotherapists treat a wide range of conditions such as sports injuries, joint pain, back pain, post-operative rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and more.

What should I expect during the initial assessment?

The initial assessment involves discussing your medical history, current symptoms, performing physical tests, and developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and the nature of the condition. It will be discussed during the assessment, and the treatment plan will be adjusted accordingly.

What types of treatments do you offer?
